Wiping bums. Fortunately I don't have to do it as much now as when I worked in rehab.

Dealing with negative press. Hate it.

I am currently avoiding doing my most hated part of my job.

Basically potential clients send us huge long questionnaires asking all about our background, performance, ethics blah blah blah They just go on forever and are so dull.

Luckily it usually means we are in the running for them to give us some money. None of it ends up in my pocket so so I really don't care, I'll procrastinate a little more.

Yep, elderly people.

Doing my expenses.

Pandering to ridiculous requests from NHS Trusts and HESA. I don't think the Trusts in particular realise how long it takes to collate the useless information they apparently 'need'. And as for HESA... NONE of our courses/students are funded by anyone who has anything to do with HESA, we have NOTHING to do with them so it really bugs me to be forced to collate data for them.

Photocopying documents ready to go to Court etc....don't mind small bundles but big ones take forever especially if the photocopy keeps jamming!

Having to be polite to irate, irrational, stupid and occasionally drunk relatives of my patients. Nothing about patients bothers me, it's their damn visitors who cause all the problems (oh, and it's usually the relatives of patients who don't have so much as a clean nightie or a piece of soap of their own brought in for them)

Financial reconciliation of preparing and justifying (to the Board) annual budgets.

Taking notes in meetings. Very boring! Also travelling to said meetings.

Dealing with complaints from customers. It's very difficult to be sympathetic with someone when for eg they say they burnt their mouth on the food and are kicking up a fuss about it ?

Sacking people, even when its the right thing to do I still feel a bit guilty or worried about how they will manage without an income. Its also quite confrontational and you have to remember to still be professional and calm.

As a SAHM it's cleaning the highchair after every meal. It can take forever and it's grim.

Mine is billing clients during/after a divorce...

Office bollocks. Mainly having to complete menial tasks for senior managers because they think they are too important to do it themselves.

I make myself feel better by knowing that if they have got to the stage where they are facing dismissal, they have been naughty enough and it is usually deserved. It doesnt stop me crapping myself about one day getting abused in public for sacking someones husband/wife/son/daughter.... I work in manufacturing, so the calibre of staff isnt the highest ever, and although the majority are lovely people, some are blummin rough!

My worst part is my monthly board report.... Each month I have to find a different way of essentially saying "I did the job you pay me for".... and then collate a lod of figures from various departments who have made their figures up... meaning it is a totally pointless task. I would rather do filing than do my board report.

Complaints - Just because people can be soooooooo stupid and have such unrealistic expectations or are just malicious and therefore a complete waste of my time.

Answering the phone. If they're calling me, they're not happy.

I'm doing a PhD developing new medical equipment.

What is it you do?

Vaginal examinations. Especially when Im having to induce labour. Its so uncomfortable for the woman but an essential part of my role.

Picking maggots off bunnies with fly strike! it's horrible.

There are also a few owners who I really dread having to see.
