Where to get ring valued

Hi,we bought my engagement ring abroad and would love to know it's value at home, does anybody know where you can get this done in the north west? Thanks

Don't know of any specific places in the North West but I get jewellery valuations handed in a lot for my work - I think most jewellers will be able to do a valuation for you although there might be a small fee (the ones I see are usually about £40 but that's for quite a lot of items). Don't think the big chains like H Samuel or Ernest Jones or whatever do it (although happy to be corrected!) but the smaller independent ones will probably be able to point you in the right direction even if they can't do it themselves.
