I am, but they double up as name places so I can justify it in my head!

I got some cellophane bags and ribbon, and put 3 chocolates in the bag, tied up with ribbon and a name tag (they doubled up as nametags too)

I had little boxes of hotel chocolat chocs for the ladies (i know someone who works there so i got a hefty discount) and miniature bottles of whisky for the men (again, we got loads of them from someone that works for a drinks company).

we only got them as we knew we didn't have to spend bucket loads. didn't really want anything too massive or expensive or ugly so that people would leave them behind.

I am! I think I've decided on wild flower favours (plantable paper with wild flower seeds in the paper that your guests then go home and plant!). Working out around 50p each!

We are having mini scrolls which say the following....... They all rolled up with roses buds fastenin them.

(Grooms Name) and (Brides Name) would like to say,

    Thank you for sharing our

    Wedding day,

    Today you witnessed

    two people in love,

    Being blessed by God above,

    Vows were read,

    “I do’s” said,

And now we begin the next stage of

    Our Life,

Together forever as Husband & Wife

Please take this small memento away,

To remind you of our special day,

Finally, please know as you depart,

That you hold a special place in our heart

We're thinking about having these "Wonky Bars", they have a golden ticket inside that you can put a message on for the guests and they are only £1.50 each!!

I'm having foam DIY aeroplanes. They only cost a fiver for a box of 50 and they are more for the zillions of kids we're having there rather the adults. I love building them so I'll be going round doing them if everyone leaves them!

Forget me not seeds in a small envelope which I am going to stamp with a purple butterfly ( out theme) and put some ribbon round. ( ebay for most of this). Ladies only I think.

    Kids are harder.

Partybags for under 12's probably, and chocs for the 12-18s

We had vodka or whiskey minatures for the gents and ladies got a wine charm which was around their glass at the table and I had little organza bags with tags at each setting so the guests could take the charm off after the meal and pop them into the little bag. Not a single one was left.

We aren't having traditional favours. But each place name at the wedding breakfast will be written on a stone that has our names and the date of the wedding written on the back so they can keep that if they want something to take home. We also have the little bottles of bubbles shaped like champagne.

Ive been really stuck on if we should or shouldnt, OH and my mum are both anti them but I kinda thought i should do something! we went to a wedding recently which didnt have any and i didnt even notice until OH pointed it out after the meal!

at the moment i am considering making some cookies to be served with the coffee after the meal. ive just bought some cookie cutters, one is 2 hearts together, one a pair of shoes to represent me and on a guitar/bass to represent OH! im going to give it a test run to see how much time it takes!!

We are having shortbread cookies in the shape of snowflakes, they will be in a clear bag and tied with a name label which will double as a name tag.

My mum and I did a test run and froze and then after a month defrosted them, they were fine so may even make them in advance although mum was talking about making them on new years eve. (our wedding is 2nd jan)

We've gone for the seed papers too, they arrived last week and there really lovely. Work out quite cheap and I thought they were a bit different. We've also got blue heart chocolates, and a blue wooden rose for each setting too.
