Who is staying where the night before.....

I'm at my mum's bridesmaids, OH, best man at the reception venue hotel.

Sister (bridesmaid) would be at mum's too but grandparents are staying - my grandfather is giving me away ?

Me and OH are staying in this hotel room...

We're hiring a cottage for a few days before the wedding, so me and the OH will be staying there. My mum &/or dad will probably do the same, I think PIL will opt for a cottage too. Hiring a cottage for a week seems to be about the same price as a nice hotel room for a couple of nights, so we're all looking into that option!

Huge bone of contention about this at the minute!

My mum wants me to stay at the family home because it's "traditional" but my old bedroom is now an office, full of files, a massive computer set up, totally messy... Plus a single bed that I can't sleep in without hurting my back!! They've promised to make it look really nice but doesn't do much to change the fact the room is TINY and I doubt I'll be able to get dressed in there.

Anyway, I suggested that I stayed in the hotel with H2B, but mum got really upset. So, it's a night in the office for me lol, so I'll be waking up with a sore back and huge bags under my eyes from not sleeping!

I am staying at my mums, H2B will be at our home. Bridesmaids are staying at their own houses and then coming over to me first thing.

My parents are separated have been for a while will be very weird having my dad in my mums house. Hope they will be ok and not too uncomfortable. ?

Suzy, could you negotiate that you get your parents' bed for that night? Or a new sofa bed lol, I saw one on Groupon earlier...

We'll have a full house for the night as my sister has moved back home and my brother will be coming in from Canada, plus sister's boyfriend will be on the sofabed so there's nowhere else for my parents to go! Plus my mum has bad arthritis so I couldn't put her out of her bed.

I will probably use my parents' room to get ready though as they have HUUUUGE mirror wardrobe so I can see my fat *ss in my dress from all angles

It totally depends where we are living at the time. We are hoping to move soon, so if our place is decorated well enough then we (bridesmaids my mum and I) will be at mine. If not we will prob be at my mums, OH and his groomsmen will be at a hotel close to the venue. However we have bridal suite at the venue where we will be getting ready for the day. Oh also has room to get ready. This is great for me as my OH is very forgetful so it means I can check everything he needs is in his room and nothing will be missing.

I will get be staying at my mums with fsd and my parents, bridesmaids will come round the night before and then back in the morning. I was born in my parents house and It has always been 'home' for me though I haven't actually lived there for years. I am lucky as my room is in the attic and is pretty big. They also have redecorated it and I looks perfect for me all crew,s blues and pinks. OH will stay at ours with fss and best man 1, the other usher and best man will go round in the morning.

I am staying at the venue with my bridesmaids. My mum is also staying at the venue the night before. OH and best man are staying at OH's parents house. I'm looking forward to giggles and nibbles the night before with my bridesmaids x

If I get my own way and have a horse and carriage, we live too far away so will be staying in a hotel, probably premier inn as that's the nicest near there...

otherwise ill be staying at my family home and sending the OH to his family home (we own a house with my momma) x

In a break with tradition we're staying together in the hotel the night before the wedding in the same suite as we'll stay in on the wedding night. Both our families will be there and we'll all have dinner and a few drinks and generally just relax in readiness for the next day.

I'm staying at the venue as are my parents, all bridesmaids, a few other family friends who live near my parents (3 hours away) and some of OH's family.

I made sure to book the biggest room they have for me and my mum though!

I'll stay at my house and OH will be at his best man's flat.

I'd rather be in my own home as I'm a light sleeper at the best of times and would rather be able to plod about my house if I can't sleep.

I am staying at a hotel with my BM's and my friends that are travelling to Nottingham. My parents only live round the corner but unfortunately even though I could have my sisters double bed (she's moved out) and the whole house has been decorated I refuse to stay there. My mum smokes and she won't stop or not even smoke outside for my sake, so I have upset her and my dad and opted for a hotel. My OH is staying at the same hotel with his best man, parents, ushers, family. It will be a fun game at breakfast trying not to see each other. They originally put me in the room above him!

I've got a hotel suite for me and the Bms. OH will either stay with his usher or in another hotel (we live too far from venue ourselves)

We got married quite far from where any of our family live, so my parents found a B&B where they, various family members, my bridesmaids and me all stayed the night before (and they stayed there afterwards). H stayed in the venue with the best man, his parents and the ushers all came on the day, and the two of us went off to a hotel for the wedding night.

My OH and the best man will be staying in OH's and my place.

My maid of honour and I will be staying at the hotel my OH picked out for our mini-moon (best place for preparation pictures, closer to the venue).

Me, my best friend (and BM) and family are staying in the hotel. OH us staying at his parents house round the corner.

We wanted to stay at the venue, but there's another wedding the day before, so we had a slight change of plan.

Now we're staying at our home together the night before (I sleep better with him) and then ill head to my parents to get ready in the morning, before driving to the venue (just over an hour away).

Its actually worked out cheaper cos makeup, hair and flowers are being sorted locally rather than in the middle of the expensive Lake District!

Our venue is about an hour away from where we all live so we've booked a b&b room for me and mum for the night before. The BMs will meet us there in the morning. My OH will stay at our house the night before. Then we're all staying at the venue the night of the wedding. I think the morning of the wedding is going to be a mad rush! Ah well!

I'm going to be at my parents with bm's, oh will be at home - nearly an hour away from the church, but that's what he wants!
