Would you like this as a gift?

RubyBlue, 12 December, 2008 at 22:56 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 16

I thought it would be quite nice to book tickets for Hairspray the musical for my mum and sis, just found tickets in the stalls for £40 each. It will be a Fri in Jan...I'm 99% sure they won't have plans and they have both mentioned this in the past.

Would you like to receive theatre tickets as a present?

?

Yes, for sure, how lovely! There are some great dinner + theatre packages about as well. I'd be thrilled!

Definitely, it's just nice to have time out with your mum and sis anyway, no matter what you were watching. I was looking to do the same for my mum and sister and had the same dilemma about whether they'd like it. If they did it for me though i'd be chuffed to bits.

I've been to see it, twice. So has my H2B. Both think it's one of the best (not so)new shows out there. Cast is great and if you go I hope Michael Ball is performing that evening. He was amazing!

And the girl playing Tracey is brilliant. Have fun!

Definitely, I love receiving event or experience vouchers or tickets as it's not something I would buy for myself and my Mum also enjoys getting gifts which then involve her spending time with her daughters.

I'm taking her to Crufts in March and my sister, Cliff at the O2 in Sept.

Defintely - it's a great present idea. We had a theatre season ticket bought for us by my parents a few years ago - for a smallish regional theatre. We went to see some things we would not have ordinarily gone to - it was great.

Fab! Thank you all very much for your responses - I'll book them this afternoon ?

I'm not feeling very well and I'm just about to drag myself out to the shops, so that's 2 presents less I have to worry about.

    Fank youuuuuu ?

PS. Mrs Magic, I'll be your friend ?

    xxx
