Does anyone use this.?I thought that I read somewhere that you get free access to esource if you pay for WW with a monthly pass. How useful is Esource? What resources are on there?

I use e-source every day, it has an online tracker where you go through how many points you are allowed and then it tracks your points used accordingly, so no need for the paper system. It also tracks your weight and tells you when you have reached a variety of milestones, I also use the community to check on points, recipe suggestions, online stories, health and exercise tips. The only thing that I cannot find is eating out guide points! but hopefully someone will read this and advise me!

Utilising the e-source has really inspired me to continue with ww, as often I can get quite bored and give up after a couple of weeks, however I am going for my 5th weigh in on friday (lost 8.5lb so far, 13lb to go) and I do believe that I have stuck to the plan because I now have access to different recipes, to see what others are eating and borrow the recipes, consider a variety of exercise options based on people'sexperiences and how they could work for me, and planning and tracking my foods.

If you are on monthly pass give it a go and see what you think, you may need to try it a couple of times. If your not then you can use the community aspect for free.

    Good Luck

Totally agree with Mrs S, I find it really easy to use and it has the points values for millions of products on it, you only need to adjust the amount you are eating, so make sure you weigh everything pointed. It also has the calculator too for things you can't find. There are thousands of recipes on line which means you have no excuse for getting bored with eating the same things.

What I tend to do is plan my 3 meals the night before and put them in the tracker, then I know exactly what number of points I have spare for snacks or treats. I really need to plan ahead to prevent me from making poor decisions about meals based on what is in the fridge/cupboard.

Agree with what everyone else said. I think it's a great resource and love donwloading new recipes so don't get bored. Also when youuse the online tracker it is much easier to work out points than with the paper version in the books. You just set the unit of measurement and quantity and it works out points rather than having to adjust points from the quantity stated in the book. Also I find that when I use online tracker and put in a quantity it is more accurate. Some foods can actually be a higher points value when worked out online than if you use the food lists eg 1 slice of ww bread says 0.5 on the packet so I would have just assumed 2 slices is 1 point but actually it is 1.5 meaning I would have overeated on points without knowing IYKWIM.

Mrs S to get eating out points go into the find and explore function then just type in what you want eg sweet and sour chicken or the name of the place you are eating in and it comes up with a range of foods. Also in find and explore if you click on the bar on the left hand side and click on food you can then select cuisine and it has chinese, indian, etc and restaurant. I have used it a few times before going out/having takeaway and it is great for stopping me overeating.

I find the esource useful but have found you can't rely on the food list for points. I always use the nutritional vaues and work them out myself as the site isn't very up to date and as manufacturers are always tweeking their recipes the site can sometimes be up to a couple of points out.
