X Factor evictions

I was expecting Jonjo, Two Shoes and James to go, but was not expecting Amelia to go. I thought Sophie should have gone from the girls. Really want Sammi to win.

I think the right decision was made on all accounts.

I completely disagree with you darkivy and dont think Sammi should win at all. I cant see her selling many albums and there is no way she is good enough to be an international artist.

My early faves are Marcus and The Risk but this may change as I'm so fickle!

I think The Risk could do well, and Misha B. I was surprised that Amelia w.ent over Sophie. I agree that Sammi has a good voice, but its not just having a good voice that always sells lots of albums

Think Craig was really really good, tho dont see him winning sadly as hes not your typical 'popstar'....

I think the girls was a really tough choice, I don't like Janet so would like to have seen her go but that was never going to happen. Think the right choices were made really. My fav's are The Risk and Craig, think they could both do really well

Oh god, how could I forget about Craig! He nearly made me cry with his song. Amazing!

I think the transformation in him could be really good too as Gary has him on that healthy eating programme too. I think that could go in his favour

Loved craig and the risk, thought marcus should have gone over James, and I thought amelia's song choice was crap, she didnt get chance to showcase her voice, I think had she sang something current, something by pink for example she would have stayed.

I think the right decisions were made - I think sophies voice is amazing and I loved marcus and craig too. The overs category is really poor sammi is so out dated she is just a belter! johnny is just comical and I cant stand kitty. I think the groups are ok the weakest being nu vibe. All IMO of course!

I think every single song choice of Louis was crap, he really sticks out like a sore thumb now. Why they didn't replace him this year as well I do not no. I thought both James and 2 Shoes songs were terrible choices for them as well

I do think it is a shame such importance is placed on the physical transformation though in order for him to be more successful. A voice should be a voice regardless of the 'package' it comes in. It certainly didn't stop Cee Lo Green, Barry White, Adele etc.

I predicted all the ones that went. Kelly had a tough job because I thought all the girls were good but Amelia wasn't quite reaching those high notes I thought.

Craig made me cry, Marcus was fantastic, The Risk were amazing, Misha was fabulous and Janet is finally winning me over although she did look like Edward Scissor Hands last night! Even the Girl Group Rythmix were really good. I have to say I think apart from Louis group (who let's face it, are never going to sell albums), it's the best X-Factor lineup yet.

I'm not excited about any of the acts this year. Last year, at week 2, OH and I put a bet on Rebecca winning. Ok, she didn't go on to win it, but second place is pretty close and it just shows how much of a stand out act she was right from the beginning. There are usually one or two stand out acts right from the start but I don't think any of them are this year.

I really liked Amelia yesterday, she's got a good rock voice, but I agree that Kelly had a very tough decision. I do hate Janet's voice (although she'd toned down the squeakiness a bit this time) but everybody else loves her so there was no way she was going.

Other than that, I think the right decisions were made (although I secretly wanted to hear more from Two Shoes!).

I prefer last years line up also..... MATT CARDLE! I doubt we will be wowed with any vocal performances that could top most of his, and Rebecca was amazing!

I hope that this long awaited album is good, everyone will have forgotten about her, we were racking our brains last night to work out who was runner up last year. Cher Lloyd is the only one that really stands out for me last year as she was so much more up to date than anything they've had on there before. I think they've realised she was on to something too as quite a few of the acts seem to be a bit more edgy this time around.

I think Jonjo was the right choice but not the others. I loved 2 Shoes! I think they should have ditched Nu Vibe instead. There's now no original groups left in the competition, just the ones the judges put together. That said, I do have to concede that The Risk are brilliant.

Gutted to see Amelia go, she was one of my favourites. I think Sophie should have gone instead as I just find her a bit dull.

Glad Craig is still in it but it made me so sad to see they've stuck him on a diet. Why perpetuate the trend that you have to look like a popstar in order to be one! Aretha Franklin was hardly a beauty but she is one of the most incredible artists of all time. I hate the music industry these days (and yet cannot stop watching X Factor ? ) I don't like Frankie or Marcus, I think James should have stayed and Marcus gone home.

I think Kitty should have gone!! can't stand her, glad Sammi was first choice through after she wasnt on the final 4.

I dont like Janet of Frankie - whats the appeal?? but they are going to stay.

Liked Craig the best from the performances but not sure yet who to win

see, thing is on our group of friends we have a x factor first live show gathering, where we watch and then all guess who will win the entire thing, write it down, seal it in an envelope and put away til the final...then we do the grand reveal and the winners out of all of us get prizes!! we helped ourselves this year by voting after sundays show but i still couldnt be as sure as i was after last years first show. apart from craig and the risk, i cant say anyone really stood out!!!

I think that makes it more interesting! It was obvious Matt was going to win last year as he stood out right the way through so I thought it made it a bit boring. At least this year will keep us guessing.

As I watch the XF as an entertainment show and not as a talent contest, I hope that Johnny stays in for a while.

I find it hard to believe that the judges decided who to put through and who to ditch themselves and had no 'word in their ear' from the producers. At the end of the day, the contestants are their 'cast' and they need to make sure they have the right people involved.

Predictable that 2shoes went - didn't think they would want a pregnant contestant in the show, especially if (by some miracle) they stayed in it a long time.

Obvious Frankie would stay - I think he's been earmarked as the contestant we should all like even though they are disliked by some - like Cher last year. He will be rammed down our throats especially as his family is buddies with Jason Orange.

Amelia was stitched up - she was given a song that didn't show off her vocal range and was given a crap image, compare it to the one Sophie was given.

Sami is nothing more than a Geraldine tribute act.

My guess is they did it for ratings, SC makes millions every year from the advertising revenue so the more people that watch, the more they can demand for adverts.

Didn't have a favourite act from last week, maybe it was due to the song choices...I can't wait until the next show starts.

I know he was crap but Nu vibe were still dreadful, it didnt matter who went for me, I thought the public for the first time got it absoloutely right so fair play.
