I gave up on X Factor when it went from studio to live auditions. Fell out with it big style. I think the show has had its day and is beginning to be tedious. It's always the same lines from everyone like - "this means everything to me" and "I want this SO much" Get real, you're 18 years old or whatever with a whole life in front of you! Surely everyone knows by now that the actual winner is only ever a one hit wonder and then never heard of again with the exception of Leona Lewis of course. Now if you're 2nd or 3rd or even don't make it into the semi finals, you'll be a BIG star ?
Loved Jahmene but please James won as he is more current. Thought Impossible was a really poor song choice for him though. Compared to how he sounds with the other songs he has done, it isn't as good. The Adele cover was brilliant.
I think if it's going to do better next year they need to do a mix up of the judges. Louis should not be there, he says the same drivel to all the contestants week in week out. I'm not a fan of Tulisa either. I thought Nicole was great and love a bit of the Barlow so they can stay
I do like the winner's song, and I think James deserved to win just as much as Jahmene. But I'm sad Jahmene didn't win. I think he'll struggle now. Like, James would have been successful whether he won or not, but I don't think Jahmene will do as well. Might be wrong though.
I'm pleased he won, but I would have been happy with either of them, they were both amazing! Let it be is one of my favourite songs but I don't think it's right to cover a Beatles song, there are classic and won't be beaten! I love Impossible and downloaded it straight away, now I can perve on James's voice a bit more, and all the money goes to that amazing charity.
I haven't watched any of this years (made a decision to stop watching tele that makes me unnecessarily angry) but I have heard Barlow might not be back next year. His choice though I think.
I heard Barlow might not be back next year either. I hope he is as it's the only reason H will watch it with me. He refused to watch Jahmene sing Let it Be last night though which I was fine with, not a Beatles fan at all.
Yes yes and yes! Love James. Was also pleased that that silly article Maloney turned up pi&&ed and abused everyone has been kicked off the tour/any other X Factor related jobs. I knew he was a wrong un!
Have just read in the news that Maloney topped the votes for the first 7 weeks! who the hell was voting for him? Pensions Unite and the staff at Butlins?
Glad James won. I wasn't a massive Jahmene fan. He oversung the songs which irritates me and the sob stories just annoy me. I think they play on it far too much.
Hated Christopher, can't understand who voted for him. Total karaoke.
The reason why the only successful one was Leona, was because she had the X- Factor. If you are THAT talented you don't need the hype and drama that the shows finalists do nowadays.
I agree, after all he was only his 4th choice to be put through to the finals so he couldn't have rated him that much. Plus he seemed to go against his own advice with him by making him sing boring old classics rather than making it more current.
I'm watching the Sunday episode on catch up as I was out last night. Apparently these were the voting figures: https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/tv-film-news/x-factor-voting-numbers-2012-1482872
Mad that Baloney came top almost every week, who was voting for him?! Also interesting that it wasn't that much of a shocker Ella went out early as she was middle of the board all the way through.
I thought the show was really bad, the sound through the whole thing was terrible you could see the look on many of the artists faces and the obvious incident with Nicoles microphone! (shame it didn't happen to Chris!!!) even a cameraman fell over there were people running about in the background that shouldn't be in shot etc etc. Really bad!
Yes thats why X factor has finished a week earlier than usual this year to give the Hillsborough single a chance apparently. Also found out that Rebecca didn't give an interview to the Sun, it was an open press conference and they just used her qoutes and printed it as if she had given a full interview, thats why people are fine with her being on the single. They have done this numerous times with Gerrard and other players of ours. Gary Barlow wanted to be involved but was turned away (as a reds supporter) by Peter Hooten because he is involved with the tory party!
The XF bottled it last year and finished a week early to avoid the Xmas number one battle as well. I still can't believe that Rooney actually did exclusive interviews with The Sun - idiot!
