Other commuters annoy you, the sight of someone taking up a seat with their bags and who has the indeceny to loo put out when they get asked to move them makes you want to point out perhaps they would like to pay the 3k it costs for a season ticket for their bags.

Can you tell my love affair with the commute after 8 years, is over?

Your doctor looks like he should be still at school

you want to be in bed by 9

you hate the mums at school who actually have time and want to do their hair and make up before dropping off their kids (i have been known to just sling a full length coat over my pjs)

you don't get the comedy - the inbetweeners - what is that all about - not really that funny, yet my 18 yr old finds it hilarious

you enjoy playing board game ha ha and take them very seriously (i've started playing chess again - the shame)

you look at fashion items differently, wtf my son recently spent £40 on what looks like a pair of lace up plimsols!! i could of got the same for £7 from Asda

you prefer your cards to the presents on your birthday

you're happy to spend £10 on a pair of jeans

not that i've given it much thought.........

The new nurses are considerably younger than you

That irritated me from the moment I moved into my own place at 22! Old before my time! ?

Mine is: when you'd rather meet friends for a meal or at a pub to catch up rather than go to a club and drink!

You tut at people with naughty children in Tesco ?

You actually enjoy wondering round Homebase or the Garden Centre at the weekend, and want to buy everything in sight.

You prefer a quiet pub to a noisy bar!

You look out the window when it snows and instead of going "Yippee! Snowman time" you go "Oh poo, I have to get to work in that."

When a Friday or Saturday night no longer bothers you staying in, (also walking round either a supermarket or even B & Q). When there was a time when you would run in from work and have a quick tea get ready and go out.

    Kids hanging around the streets

The one which is I have always been told is when the policeman get younger

In hot weather the amount of teenagers who where there big winter boots with shorts etc

Agree with alott of others already written, ie a meal to catch up instead of a drink

Forgot to add, when you would rather spend your 40 quid which you used to spend on drink and taxis on the house ie a nice new set of curtains etc

You get excited about things for house and decorating (sorry sad, currently waiting for insurance claim to go through)

When you say things to your kids, that your parents said to you. (I swore I wouldn't do this, but I am sooo guilty of it.)

When your "shopping buddy" is your mum.

When you go round to a mates house and they ask if you want a cuppa, rather than a soft drink or alcohol.

When you can't understand how girls can go out wearing hardly anything and you're there in your thermals. (ok, so i don't have thermals, but I always take a coat)

When you actually say "when i was a kid..."

I agree with most of these on here. Another is when you swap Glamour magazine for Ideal Home or equivalent.

Went for a night out with a friend but cos she hadn't eaten anything we decided to just pop into the sandwich bar that was still open and actually full of teenagers...we were asked if we could leave as one a month they open this sandwich bar in the eve for under 18's.....which we were not and basically wouldn't serve us either!! Great start to the eve!!! It was my first time out since having my Daughter who was 6 mths old at the time and was already feeling 'out of it' so for that to happen was just great!! ?

    The teenagers making the noise.....being your's !!!

Thinking about xmas and woking out how many pay packets you will get in...september makes me feel old. The lack of sex and it being dictated by the children of the houses sleep pattern .
