Are your in laws involved in wedding planning?

Just wondered if there's a few who's in laws get involved in helping to pay or helping to plan, etc? My in-laws don't know anything, aren't paying for anything, don't ask about anything. I tried to involve MIl by asking if she wanted to come and look at wedding dresses when I went but she just seems...

Just wondered if there's a few who's in laws get involved in helping to pay or helping to plan, etc? My in-laws don't know anything, aren't paying for anything, don't ask about anything. I tried to involve MIl by asking if she wanted to come and look at wedding dresses when I went but she just seems not bothered by anything! X

    Honestly, it’s exhausting when you try to involve them and just get met with total indifference. My in-laws are exactly the same way—they haven't asked a single question or offered any help, which really hurts when you're just trying to share the excitement.     Getting locked out of my own wedding planning feels exactly like getting locked out of my account because of a Walmart 2-Step Verification glitch—just pure frustration. It's so hurtful when you try to extend an olive branch to involve your MIL and just get completely blanked in return.
