Button bouquet - doubting self

Miss Metal, 21 September, 2012 at 22:45 Posted on Planning 0 15

I've loved all the button bouquets I've seen so made myself one but now am doubting myself and not sure if it looks tacky?

    It's fabulous Smiley smile

I would be delighted with that - I'm having one made by a friend, only because I want the surprise (I'd probably doubt myself too) but honestly, its gorgeous. You should make more and sell them on Etsy Smiley smile

It's not tacky, its lovely! Why do you feel it is? The feathers are unusual but it clearly represents your style which is fab!

I made my own brooch bouquet, and had the same doubts. I kept looking at it and holding it. On the day everyone loved it and it looked great in our photo's. Have faith in yourself.

It's ended up quite big, and therefore I'm not sure that the shape is right. I've put the feathers to try to give some shape to the bottom as it wasn't curving under.

loveSka, that is lovely. So pretty.

I used a dry posy holder which cost about £5 off eBay, then stacked 3 buttons onto wire. The posy holder gave me the shape so there wasn't much more to it but there are loads of tutorials about.

Don't doubt! It's lovely! But if you wanted to break up the largeness of the dome, I would get some much larger buttons to break up the dynamics of the many smaller ones. I still think its lovely though.
