Catholic Order of Service Examples - anyone got any

Hi Everyone

Has anyone got any examples of OOS they have/are planning to use? I seem to be struggling with this and I want to have a go at putting one together before going to see the Priest.

I'm not sure if it matters but we aren't having the full mass (no communion) as I am not Catholic but H2B is so if anyone has anything that relates to a Catholic Church but not fuill Catholic ceremony.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi, I am catholic and my H isn't. So we were in a similar situation to you. My Unlce was our priest and my H's minister shared the service.

We had:

Opening Hymn

Opening Prayer

Lighting of individual candles

First Reading

Responsorial Psalm

Second Reading

Gospel Acclamation

Gospel Reading

Homily/Sermon

Prayers of the faithful

Rite of Marriage

Declaration of Consent

Blessing of the rings

Exchange of Rings

Lighting the Marriage Candle

Lord's Prayer

Nuptial Blessing

Sign of Peace

Hymn

Final Blessing

Signing of the register

Our service knd of evolved into this after we met with my uncle and H's minister, so if I were you I'd go with an idea of readings you like and anything you feel you definitely want to have included like the unity candles and work out most of it with the priest.
