Ceremony songs

We chose a selection of music by Vitamin String Orchestra - lots of songs we like done as string music. So our walking down the aisle music was a string version of A Thousand Years, signing songs included Can’t Help Falling In Love, Somewhere Only We Know etc all as string versions.

We didn't have any music during the signing section. I don't think we would have heard it anyway because everyone was talking to each other. So don't stress about that bit if no songs are jumping out at you.

What songs do you both like any that are appropriate for you walking down x♥️

I'm still deciding too, but I'm almost set on something from the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice (the 1995 BBC version with the score by Carl Davis) for my entrance. Is there a particular show or film that you love?
Still got to work out the rest. I'm a couple of weeks after you but I'm not panicking yet. Plenty of time!

We are having some classical music so when the guest are sitting down we are having
River flows in you- Yiruma piano version (this is so beautiful could be a walking down the aisle song!) Nuovole bianche- Ludovico Einaudi
Then walking down the aisle having Canon D- pachabel (I know super popular but something I’ve wanted since a little girl!)
Then signing the papers we are having video games by Lana del ray

We've got mainly arctic monkeys and abba for song choices, do what songs you love the most as long as its non offensive I don't see the problem ☺️

Are you having it over speakers or a musician? We've got a harpist playing Yiruma's River Flows in You which is modern classical, then some Louis Armstrong for the signing of the register and Tina Turner's Simply the Best as Exit music. Good luck choosing!

We are having a string quartet. I am walking down the aisle to everything I do (I do it for you) Bryan Adams, we are having them play shallow by lady gaga and Bradley cooper when we are signing the papers as my late father in law always used to ask me to sing it to him so it will be dedicated to him and we are having crazy little thing called love when we are waking out together

Music for a Perfect Day - Harp

We've bought this CD and have chosen tracks for the different parts of the ceremony. The venue is old fashioned and the organiser said that they had a CD player so we bought a CD. Otherwise you can stream this album too.

I had a listen on Spotify / YouTube for music. I want no words in my aisle song, but as we are both geeky / video gamers and met through that we will be looking at a violin / piano version of a theme for a game.


Mentioned previously by someone was the vitamin violin orchestra (may have it wrong) but they sound lovely!! Have a listen to them on YouTube
