Choosing bridesmaids

Your wedding, your rules. I think you have enough guests that it won't look like all of them are standing at the front, which is the main issue with large bridal parties. As long as you can afford it, have space & time for everyone to get ready, then have who you want. You don't need to have equal numbers - to be honest, I prefer not having equal numbers, since it looks too matchy for my taste, and I always wonder if someone's been added in or left out to even up the sides, since how likely is it that both halves of the couple have exactly the same number they really want in the wedding party.

My partner and I have very different numbers (he has lots of friends and is incapable of deciding anything) and I don't think it's going to be a problem at all! If you really want for this girl to be one of your bridesmaids, I'd go ahead with it if I were you!

You do you hun! There is no rule, as others said is your day so do what you are happy with. I have 2 adult BM's and 4 little ones and a page boy, was originally just having one adult and my 8yr old stepdaughter but then I thought sod it, the kids are all part of the guest list so may as well have then all as part of the day! The 2nd adult BM is someone I have got close to in the last couple of years so i added her as well, the more the merrier! X
