How do you decide on a colour scheme? We are having a wedding in October 2025 so autumnal colours are my first thought but we just can't seem to find the right fit. How do you decide this?

I've seen suggestions to look at the colours you have used around your home. If you like particular colours schemes enough to decorate your home with them, then they are a good start for your wedding.

We looked at our venue for inspiration - I looked at their social media and narrowed down some ideas, then ordered lots of colour swatches from the site I was planning on getting my bridesmaids dresses from. We then put together different combinations of colour swatches until we landed on what we liked!

Is there a particular flower that you like/want as that may be a starting point. I knew I wanted sunflowers so I went with navy as they work well together

We scoured Pinterest and thought realistically about our personal taste and style. Also; consider bridesmaids dresses! I LOVE bright yellow and orange- there was no way I was going to subject my nearest and dearest girls to dresses of that colour though 😅
