Colours! Help? 1
Hi all, first post here because I'm rubbish with colours and rubbish at trying to picture it in my head haha.
My fiance is wearing the suit as pictured on the left, the groomsmen will wear the same but with blue waistcoat. We are thinking the middle picture for the buttonholes, bottom right for my 2 daughters who will be wearing burgundy dress, and top right is what I want for my bouquet. My first question is, when all together do the colours look OK?

Secondly, my original intention was to have ivory dress, I am now thinking more of a champagne dress with ivory lace detail.. however I am not sure if the champagne colour will go with all of the above or is there too many different colours?

Hi, your wedding colours are beautiful! And they do all match, I’m not sure if champagne dress would match but ivory and white would! I’d suggest trying a champagne dress on and seeing how it looks!

The colours look amazing together! Youve done really well for someone who doesnt think they're good with colours.

You've done really well to find flower inspo in your colour scheme- that can be tricky when you're not going for the traditional "blush"! & bonus points for matching it with the groomsmens ties. I suppose you just need to find bridesmaid dresses (if youre having bridesmaids) that match the tie colour!
I wouldnt worry too much about the flowers though and put trust in your florist (after sending her those photos) to come up with flowers & colours that work.
As for the dress, if you're interested in a champagne dress, perhaps speak to your florist about swapping out some of the pink/white flowers in your bouquet for a more champagney white flower e.g. white garden o hara roses have a slightly champagney tint to them

Thank you both, I might have to think more about the champagne dress. I'm not really keen on a white or ivory dress so wanted something a little different. The other option I had is a very light pink with the ivory overlay which might go a bit better than the champagne with ivory overlay. I'll probably end up with ivory though

Colours look great. I'm still thinking about colour themes. Regarding champagne dress, try one one. I thought I may want champagne but it totally washed me out and really didn't look good or flatter my skin tone. Blush was better, but I'm going to stick with ivory. Whether you stick with ivory or go with a bit of colour, your skin tone will make the decision for you, not your flower choices. X
