Nope. I had smokey eyes on my wedding day (much darker than yours) and even though it's not everyone's cup of tea, I loved it.

I think when you darken up your eyebrows (this will frame your face) and some lashes it will look great

I think I just rarely wear blusher (bronzer usually) and the tops of my eyes just felt to me like they looked a bit pale, so I wasn't used to the look, but I am glad others think it looks nice, has reassured me!
