We were talking about it before and I am shocked about how many people don't use fabric conditioner. I always do, maybe I am the weird one ? So, do you?

Me too, the only thing what gets static are football shirts. If they're in the washer, I bung a bit of fabric conditioner in but otherwise I don't bother. I'm fairly sure the 3ltr bottle of Lenor in the cupboard is coming up to 12 months old now and it's still more than half full.

We don't, we used to wear a lot of 'outdoor' type clothes, fleece, wicking fabrics etc and conditioner stops them working properly.

We just never got around to using fabric conditioner after that, we also only use 1/2 the reccomended dose of detergent and our clothes are just fine ( I think) even without a tumble dryer. We don't have any problems with static either.

    Use less detergent (if any).

I do with everything. I find that clothes are easier to iron if I have used fabric softener in the wash.

I like it for the smell but as my daughter has sensitive skin and some fabric conditioners can irritate, I can only use Lenor (the yellow one).and I don't use it all the time. I'm using Surf liquid at the moment and it smells lovely

I went through a phase of using Fairy soap powder and fairy fabric conditioner, but it was quite expensive!

I never use fabric conditioner and I only use one tablet instead of 2 (I read moneysavingexpert too often). But then I also never iron (I don't own an iron) so I'm not exactly Mrs Housekeeper of the year.

Yes, I do use fabric conditioner because it keeps clothes soft and smelling fresh, especially during colder months when laundry takes longer to dry indoors. From my personal experience, maintaining comfort at home isn’t just about soft clothes—it’s also about clean, balanced indoor air. That’s why I rely on a trusted heating and air conditioning service plano to keep my HVAC system running efficiently year-round. Good air circulation and temperature control make a huge difference in how fresh everything feels inside the house. If you want the same comfort, I highly recommend a professional heating and air conditioning service plano for better indoor living.

I usually use fabric conditioner on everyday laundry because I love that soft feel and fresh scent, but I’m a bit selective with certain fabrics since it can sometimes leave residue over time. For more delicate or special pieces, I always check the care label first especially with items like my Shrinking S03 Christa Miller Western Denim Shirt because I’d rather skip conditioner than risk affecting the fabric or fit. I think it really comes down to personal preference and the type of clothes you’re washing.

Yes, I do use fabric conditioner, especially during colder months when clothes can feel a bit rough after drying indoors. I’ve noticed it really helps keep fabrics soft and fresh, which makes a big difference for blankets and winter wear. Living in a place like Plano, where indoor comfort matters year-round, I’ve realized that maintaining a comfortable home environment is just as important as laundry care. That’s why I also pay attention to my HVAC system and rely on professional heating and air conditioning service plano to keep the air clean and temperatures balanced. Fresh clothes and a well-maintained AC system together make home life much more comfortable.
