dogs peeing on grass

Is there anything I can do to stop the dogs pee burning the grass?? We just put a new lawn down and there are a few burns on it already!

Pour water over the area immediately afterwards to dilute it, or there's stuff you can get which you add to the dogs' water bowl which helps neutralise the nitrogen that burns the grass.

Excellent thanks. I take it the neutralising stuff is harmless to the dogs?

I think I've read somewhere that adding tomato ketchup to the dogs' food can prevent the grass dying, but I'm not sure where... will try and check for you.
