It has certainly been an eye opener, or in some cases an eye shutter. Some have been vile, but its that thing that you MUST watch it.

I just don't get how you can let something get that bad... it may be a psychological thing...

I caught one episode with a man whose gut was almost down to his ankles... seriously... how do you let it get that bad in the first place!!!

I just don't get it.

I understand why some people feel it's a last resort (having seen their GP/other specialists for a while already) but it's those who say 'ooh, too scared to see my GP' and then end up being cut open just as I tuck into a sloppy lasagne made by my husband. Odd.

Dr Christian's terrible make up made me laugh during the first one. His face was a completely different colour to the rest of him!

This is called an "apron". Because doctors aren't allowed to call people "fat" anymore.

Dr Christian does, FTLOMB. He even went a step further and told the young girl with the excess skin that it was 'refreshing' to hear he being so honest about being fat due to overeating.

As an aside my GP is fat.

I don't think doctors should be allowed to be fat or smoke. They are supposed to set an example! Actually, I don't think they should drink either. Or do anything fun. ?

I watched one of those programmes were there was super morbidly obese people and I was astonished at how much food they ate. Must be dead expensive.

As opposed to "glands" or "big bones"?

My FIL2B's dietician is fat. He is finding it hard to receive dietary advice from someone who has a waste bin full of Mars Bar wrappers.

My GP also has a bad tie. It was putting me off.

There was one lady on there who they helped to learn to cook - she'd never prepared a courgette before. I found it quite odd.

My dad once taught a lad (of about 14 I believe) who was under the impression that chicken nuggets were a vegetable on the basis that gold nuggets are mined out of the ground so chicken nuggets probably were too and since vegetables come out of the ground it was highly likely that chicken nuggets are a vegetable. ?
