We are having a Dj and Photo Booth. we looked at bands and was out of our budget. I have been to a wedding where they had a casino set up in another room which was fun. I sometimes think there is so much pressure to do something different but for me it as about neing together and spending time with our guests so we are just doing the traditional disco and party,

That’s my thoughts. We were looking at this magician who is incredible but so expensive. We have a dj, photo booth, chocolate fountain and a sweet table but just feel like we need a filler inbetween you know x

I dont think you need anything else, there wont be any gaps as DJ will play the whole night so I honestly think you will be fine, weddings are about people spending time together, having a dance and celebrating you

It's the time between the ceremony and the evening. our ceremony is 3pm, then photos - speeches if we have them and then the dj will be starting at 630 ish. those 2 hours in between were for the magician. however we have got violins playing the ceremony and wedding breakfast (well ours are sharing platters) so wont actually need someone i guess

Charlotte is right (as always lol) you don't need anything else to go with those activities you have chosen. We have stuck with the traditional route and have a DJ and he provides a photo booth too. I didn't know the photo booths were such a wedding thing these days as I knew I wanted one after seeing them at a few work parties I attended back in the non Covid days!

People are just thrilled to be out and about socialising again so I don't think you need to go over the top with things to do!

I see what you mean. If ceremony is at 3 you will be done by 3.30 ish, then give yourself 30- 45mins for greeting guets and mingling, then photos 4 to 5 and when you are having your couples shoot your guests can mingle and have a drink, then food at 5.15 to 6.30 you will find the time flies and honestly no one will be bored, if you have space at the venue for people to sit and chat to eachother you will be fine. just check with your venue as well as to the timings as they may need time to turn room around so you need to factor that in
