So I wanted a flower Wall as a photo backdrop/decor but the venue charge almost 300 to rent one and they're not in my colours. So I'm making one! I have this artificial ivy net that I'll use as my base. My original roses are far too small so I'm making paper ones this size (but the finished ones will be black and red) and I'm going to add led lights to it too! Flower wall 1

    Just a little thought before you put all your effort into it, could be an idea to check with the venue if they will be ok with it. I am thinking from a fire safety point of view. I was speaking to a supplier of a star curtain a couple of years ago and they said part of the reason for the cost in hiring is because they have to be treated with a fireproof substance and when it needs washing the treatment has to be re applied.
