Have i found ‘the one’

I think providing you have enough time before your wedding to order the dress you should definitely go to the other two bridal appointments.


My first appointment I thought I had found the one when I tried my first dress but I later realised it was more the shock and surprise at seeing myself in a wedding dress (don't get me wrong it was nice but wasn't "the one" like I originally thought)
I ended up going for a dress that was nothing like what I had in mind.. I think its quite common to actually end up picking a dress that you didn't expect and that's absolutely fine. It's a good idea to try a range of styles even if you don't think it will suit you. It's different for everyone but you may end up finding several dresses you like/suit you and that's fine. Some people don't necessarily get the "the one" feeling. As long as you feel good and are happy in it that's all the matters.
If you're not sure book a second appointment. I was stuck between two dresses and booked another appointment to come back to try both on. Before the second appointment I ground myself thinking of one dress more than the other which made me realise which one I liked more. It wasn't an immediate "the one" kinda thing if that makes sense!
If you have time, don't rush and don't panic and just enjoy the experience 😊

It was a bit different for me as I only had one appointment as I knew I wanted tea length so went to a short dress stockist. I tried on about 8-10 in that shop and came away with one I had looked at online so I did end up with what I thought I would pick but I know a lot of brides who say they choose something totally different. What I liked about the experience in the shop was that the lady knew what would suit me shape wise and showed me stuff that wouldn’t suit in order to focus my mind! So despite trying on only short or ballerina length dresses there was still a lot of choice and I whittled it down to the one I choose.
Defo go to the other appointments I agree. You can always return to the first shop again. This is the fun part! Good luck

I think once you try the different styles on it does shock you at what looks good on ypu i was the same but trying to find a new dress has im changing my style this time but i would see how you go with the other appointments then see how you feel after them x good luck xx💗

Provided you aren't short on time there's no harm in going to the other bridal appointments, the dress you like will still be there after. I don't think you should disregard dresses just because they are not what you thought you would pick originally. If it makes you feel beautiful, that's all that matters. It's emotional buying your wedding dress, there's so much anticipation. I got teary with at least one dress in every shop! Just enjoy the process and trust your gut
