How did you choose the song you walked down the aisle to?

Hi everyone,

Partner and I are in the middle of planning our wedding and we are trying to pick a song for me to walk down the aisle too. How did you all pick your song? There are so many options and we can't seem to find one that feels 'just right'!
At the moment we are considering:Lovely Day by Bill Withers (summer wedding outdoors)Crossfire by Brandon FlowersLuna by The Smashing Pumpkins Angels by The XX Songbird by Fleetwood Mac
What song did you pick and why? What do you think about our ideas?

The Greatest Day by Take That because it was the best day of my life (apart from having my two children!)

I’m getting married in a RC Church so it’s quite strict on what you can and can’t have. We’ve chosen Arioso by Bach on the organ. I hope you have a wonderful day, if it wasn’t strict, a choice would have been our song, which I always think is a lovely option

We had an acoustic medley of the Greatest Showman by Anthem Lights, it is our fave film as a family and my stepdaughter found it and said this would be perfect for us as we know ones our family. You choose what you want, but if you want something more personal think of films or songs from it that you both love

Oooh love Lovely Day! That was on my long list of potential songs. Ultimately I decided against it because it's quite hard to walk to - it builds and builds which might make you feel like you need to walk faster and faster...

Part of my decision making came from chatting to my venue - aisle length based on number of guests with 1 flower pup then 3 x bridesmaids followed by me and Dad they anticipated would be about 90 seconds of song - so I was looking for something that had a fairly consistent tempo for at least 90 seconds and ideally an instrumental buffer for fade out around the 90 second mark (so we didn't feel panic mode if someone walked to slow or too fast and result in a mid line fade out which doesn't feel as clean).
