How many houses/flats have you lived in?

Lived with parents in one house for the first 3 years of my life - Have no recollection of this though as too young.

Moved with parents to next house until I was 19.

Moved into a house.

Moved back into parents house at 20.

Moved in with ex 6 months later.

Moved to apartment.

Moved to house.

Moved to ex's parents.

Moved to house.

Moved to Sister's house.

Moved to current house.

I'm only 25, so have moved quite alot in the last 5 years!! I thought it was awesome moving for the first time (That I can remember) when I was 19 as I'd spent 16 years in the same house.. Now I'm sick to death of it. I hate moving and plan to stay here for many years.

It's the whole packing up everything and physically moving it all that bothers me. I hate it. I've smashed expensive beds and wardrobes to bits in anger when trying to move them unsuccessfully. Then it takes weeks to unpack and decide where everything is going to live in your new house. The part I love is deciding the theme to all the new rooms.. Although I moved into my new place 4 weeks ago and so far have a stripped bathroom, master bedroom, have half stripped the spare bedroom and have a bare floor in the kitchen diner. Really should start completing some projects before starting anymore... So unmotivated.

I've only ever lived in 2. Lived in one house from birth to 23 and then moved into a flat with OH last year. I wouldn't be in a rush to move again, days spent looking at property sites, packing and unpacking was all a bit stressful for me. And I've only just really started feeling like this is my home, so wouldn't want to move somewhere else any time soon

A house from birth until I was 6. My Mum moved in with her boyfriend, who lived in a flat. My Dad kept the house, so we still got to "live" there too.

Flat from 6 until I was 10. My Step Dad died in the flat so my Mum wanted to move.

House from 10 until I moved out at 20.

Maisonette from 20 until I was 25.

House, moved into with H. We're only renting, but hoping to buy sometime in the next few years. We want to buy our "forever house" as we both hate moving, and the thought of moving from one rented house to another is a nightmare.

Not as many as I thought - Ive not included anywhere that we stayed for 6 months or less as they were more temp accommodations than actual homes

Moved house 7 times in 6 different homes, I'm 34.

5 of them have been over the last 8 years (!)

Moved out of mums, split with daughters dad, moved back to mums (1995-6)

Moved out of mums to live with ex (2003), after 9 months landlord wanted to sell the house

Moved to another rented, stayed 2 years

Bought a house (stupidly without too much homework) hated the street, sold it after 9 months

Moved back to rented, split from ex I stayed on in the house, stayed a total of 3.5 years then moved in with H2B in July and never plan on moving again!

4 - lived at my parent's house until I was 21, then into staff accommodation, a flat then the house we're in now.

Too many times, ive lost count. Since i split from my girls' dad in 1997 ive live in 8 different houses. call me a nomad!

two different house shares in first job - 6 months each,

house share in second job - 9 months

two houses with ex - 6 years and 8 years - preceded by about 6 months of moving from one friend's house to another while we tried to buy the first one

house share - 20 months

flat of my own - 1 year

rented house - 6 months

house I'm now in - 7 years

A total of 16 not counting staying with friends.

About to move into a house in the next couple of months and I hope not to have to do it again for a loooooooong time.

I lived in 7 houses up until I was 21, then moved out and rented a house for a year.

Bought my old house in 2005, then moved in with OH in 2009

Hopefully buying a place together soon!

I don't think my list is too bad...

1. I lived in a flat with my parents until I was around 13.

2. We then moved to a house and I lived there with my parents and 2 brothers until I was 18.

3. I moved in with H's parents whilst at uni.

4. The above did not last very long until I forced H to move into a flat with me just before my 19th birthday.

5. We only stayed in our first flat for around 3 months until we moved to another one.

6. We stayed in our second flat for 4 years until we brought our first house last year. It's definitely not our forever house but I hate moving so much that we are staying here until we can afford a nice big house that I intend to stay in for good.

Lived my parents for first 6 years

Moved to another house which I lived in until I was 21 (parents still iive in this house)

bought a flat lived there for 4 years before ex left me

moved back home for a year

moved in with my H to his flat for a year which he sold

rent for 6 months until new house as finished

Hopefully not going to move for a while as I have packing!!

Between house 2 and house 3 we lived in a static caravan for 3 months whilst waiting for our house to finish being built [twas a new build] but I don't think this counts...

3rd house - 12yrs til 21yrs

Then my OH and I bought a flat together and we lived there 2 years...

And in July this year we bought our first house together, so we've been there 4 months so far

So 5 houses so far [don't plan on moving any time soon!!]

My parents still live in the same house where I was conceived!

I lived there until I was 20, got a flat, moved back to parents, bought a house where i lived for 5 years, then moved back to parents when i left ex. Moved to H's house, then just moved again recently, so not many times for me!

In between numbers 3 and 7 I was back with my parents in house number 2 for the summer holidays. I don't think they'll ever move out of house number 2.

House 3 - From 12 to 16 with Dad part time (see above) then 16 to 21 full time

House 4 - From 20 to 21 while at Art College

House 5 - Back to mums (different house) from 21 to 22

House 6 - Shared with mates from 22 to 23

House 7 - Back to mums (different house) 23 to 24

House 8 - Moved in with Ex 24 to 25

House 9 - Back to mums (same as House 7) 25 to 27

House 10 - Moved in with Mr C - 27 to now!

So moved 9 times, but technically only 8 houses!!

I'm not sure on time scale for some but here goes:

House 1 - Plymouth - stayed until about 1

House 2 - Lossiemouth - (RAF baby)

House 3 - Durness

House 4 - Rothes from Primary 2 until 1999

House 5 - Uni Halls Glasgow

House 6 - Flat with uni friends in Glasgow

House 7 - Living with Granny in Glasgow

House 8 - Moved in as friends with OH in Paisley (being friend's lasted a week ) 6 months

House 9 - Next flat with OH in Paisley - 6 months

House 10 - Our first house together in Linwood

House 11 - Temporary flat in Paisley while OH's parents lived in our house whilst looking for a house to buy

House 12 - Lived with OH's parents in Paisley while he moved down to England

House 13 - Lived with my Parents in Glasgow during brief separation from OH

House 14 - Moved to Northampton

House 15 - Moved again within Northampton - OH's parents now have our old house

From birth to now (34) I have lived in 7 different accomodations. I've only owned this last one though, been here for 12 years.

Well lived in same house with parents until Uni, then lived in halls and a shared house. When i finished uni parents downsized and i moved to london...then moved back from london to their new house, and theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen im living in my own house, so compared to most doesnt seem alot being only 5places!!

12 in total and I'm 31. I only lived in 2 houses from birth to 19 then went through a stage of moving at least once a year in my 20s - it became a bit tedious and now I never want to move again!!

13. 12 of which were over the last 17 years and I am thoroughly cheesed off with moving!

I've lived in 10 houses / flats and I'm about to move into my first house as a home owner! We get our keys on Wednesday!!!! Yay yay!!!
