How much to keep secret from the groom?

I wont be showing any part of my outfit to my H2B. I think it is nice for him to see everything all together as one outfit on the day

I’m planning on keeping everything to do with my outfit, hair and make-up a secret from my fiancé 😊

I was originally going to keep everything a secret to do with how I am going to look on the day. However I ordered my shoes a few weeks back and got too excited and showed him them!

I am definitely keeping the dress a secret but the rest I will probably just see how I feel. My fiancé does have a terrible memory though so I do have the advantage that he will have probably forgotten what I've showed him by the time we get married in 2023!

I’m personally not bothered if my fiancé knows what my hair and make up would be like as I think that would be hard to keep a secret as when you get a trial and may want to wear it the rest of the day to see how it lasts he would see it anyways…
And shoes I wouldn’t mind if he saw them, as when the dress is on he won’t see them anyways lol!

My fiance hasn't seen the dress but did have input in the research and knows the sort of dress I've gone for. I've discussed my shoes, make up and accessories with him because I wanted his input and I don't mind if he sees them. We have chosen absolutely everything for our wedding together and I didn't want to exclude him from decisions about how I look. It didn't feel right for me.

I’ve chosen my dress and most of the accessories and I have a pair of wedding converse trainers for the evening do hiding in my wardrobe! He only knows the colour scheme is pale blue and that he needs to wear a suit or tie in that shade but that’s it! He will be surprised I think as I’ve gone for a tea length dress with a pale blue petticoat so it’s not that traditional!

My h2b will at least definitely see my shoes because there’s no way I’m risking blisters or sore feet on the day, so I’ll be wearing them in ahead of time!

The only thing I’m keeping a secret is my dress. I’ve had my makeup trial and he saw that as I wanted to make the most of it and see how it lasted for the day and I expect he will see my hair aswell. He saw my original shoes although I’ve sent those back as didn’t get on with them, maybe I don’t show him the replacements! I think for me though the only thing I really don’t want him to know about is the dress
