Maid of honour

Hey lovelies. So random but want some opinions if possible. I've been with my fiancé almost 3 years now and met his best mate (his bestman) and his partner 4 times max probably. Thing is, she's lush and I get on with her probably better than my own friends. We talk everyday and if I'm ever feeling crappy, she's there. Guess my question is, do you think it's odd I'd choose her over my friend's I've known longer? &
