I'm getting married in the church at the top of the street and my dad actually suggested I "just wAlk it" this is not going down well with me. Now, yes it's close but I was hoping to go the long way around in our burgandy and white daimlers

I've seen people FEED off negative just as much as the positive because it enables them to act the victim.

Firstly, we're not being horrid. We're just saying it as we see it. The OP presents a certain view of herself and we are simply reacting to that.

The problem is, when you contradict yourself frequently, and never attempt to correct the situation, it doesn't really help people to take you seriously.

Also, if that majority of a person's posts are all 'me me me' and that person rarely comments on other's people's threads to offer help or just get involved, it's hard to empathise with them or be excited for them.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm a firm believer that you get out of a forum what you put into it.

I'm in complete agreement but I am making the point that everyone is just giving her what she wants. Attention.

Could you not compromise and get a family members car and do it up with burgundy and white ribbon - this is what we're doing as the cheapest car is £230 for one!

Fair enough having cars if your venue is 9 miles away. It'd be daft if your whole day was just down the road but you may as well use the cars if you've oaid for them. You don't want to turn up to the church all sweaty and out of breath when you can step gracefully from a car you'll be having later anyway!

A family friend owns a Mustung which OH loves so I'm going to church in that, however if we didn't have that I would be walking as it's only 5 mins from our house.
