Non-binary Bridesmate outfit

Hi all, first post on here, so hope it's in the right place. We've just got engaged and one of the first things I am a bit worried about is my youngest sibling, who I would love to be part of my bridal party, but literally have no idea what I could suggest they wear as they identify as non-binary (neither male nor female), so I feel a full on dress or suit wouldn't work so well? I intend on having 1 female, and 2/3 male bridesmates too, so does anybody have any ideas/seen anything? Since they came out, they've not attended any sort of formal event so I have nothing to base this on at all and pintrest isn't helping! I will obviously be asking them but wanted a few ideas to present to start with!! If you've seen anything cool at your own or other's weddings I'd appreciate a helping hand! Thanks!

    I think the only way to know is ask them what they will feel confirmable in, maybe suggest you go shopping together to find something they like and you can choose together so you are happy as well. Rather than you suggesting things let them guide the decision as this will make them feel more included. Try not to overthink it, they wear clothes' every day so am sure you will be able to find a style they like and have fun in the process.

    But also you need to think what sex they will be today i know this sounds daft but i have a friend who one day feels like being male tjen another day female x💗

    Forgot to mention the other issue is they live in Canada, so lots of time shopping together is not really on the cards. Thanks for your suggestions both, you're right I need to include them as early as I can really.

    You sound like an amazing sister!

    There's some great stuff on instagram, look up 'Dancing with Her' and 'Dancing with Them', they are accounts dedicated to LGBTQ+ weddings. It could be a good place to start for ideas. Also search hashtags like #nonbinarywedding #nonbinaryweddinglooks etc and I'm sure there will be links to other pages you can find through those posts.

    Maybe get them to send you some links to outfits they like and you can then see if there is something you are happy with and fits with the scheme and let them get it before coming over. it may be worth waiting till nearer the time to buy as their taste may change but make sure they are involved. good luck

    Through some looking for my bridesmaids I’ve seen jumpsuits which aren’t overtly masculine or feminine but could be styled either way on how they wish to style the outfit. I’d also get them to send links of what they’d be comfortable wearing ☺️
