NYE Murder mystery outfit help required!

Hi Spangler, I typed "Dr Doris Johnson costume" into the images bit of google and some pictures came up from other people. I can't look at any of them properly at work though as most of them are blogs

I am really looking forward to it, never been to a murder mystery party before. I am catering (still no idea what to cook) the menu suggestion in the MM pack is: antipasti, quail egg salad, lamb shanks in cream sauce. Bleeeugh. I want to do something a bit more "wow" but it has to be true to the 1900 Parisian theme.

As for costume, I keep thinking of Boris Johnson. Not helpful really.

No worries, on the web bit of google there was a facebook link, there may be some photos on there, but yet again my work is pants and won't let me look at FB

Thanks for the suggestions! Abigiggle - good plan on the food! 'Tis a difficult one, need to decide today what to cook! Friend at work has said I can borrow her long velvet coat so that is something ticked off the list.

Just been to the 99p shop and Claire's and got some horn rimmed glasses, sparkly beret and hideous jewellery. Bosh.

I am supposed to wear a full length silver dress, with fur wrap and long dark curls pinned up with diamond clips!

Last minute invitation so a black dress and silver wrap will have to do... will crack out the rollers and wear as much sparkle as possible!!

There is loads of good stuff in the charidee shops. Might be worth having a look.

Won't get there after work today so would have to brave the shops tomorrow!

I've been out this morning before work and bought Mr Nursey some beautiful floppy trousers and floaty (ladies) top ? He's meant to be an old wise Indian guru, so will add a sparkly shawl round his head.

He will actually kill me when I see him, but it serves him right for not going shopping himself! ?

I've got off lightly as I'll be a 21yr old English girl, so just wearing a flapper-style dress and pretty jewellery
