"Oh God, I think they've got me a fat stripper"

W2B is on her stag/hen/whatever night, and this is the last I've heard from her. They disappeared into the night two hours ago after some tequila shots...arghhh! I'm nearly at the bottom of a lovely bottle of wine and still keep checking my phone and Facebook for updates...how sad!! Did anyone else...

Did anyone else feel edgy when their OHs were on stag dos or am I a loser?

I don't like the idea of stripper and have posted about it in the past so can't be bothered to go into all that again.

I do feel, however, that although I think that way (and wouldn't want a stripper for myself), I also believe that both my friends and OH's friends are trustworthy and will "look after" us.

I just want OH to have a nice time, and vice-versa

Massive "heh" at Footlong's first post!

I really wanted a midget stripper at my hen, but sadly funds didn't stretch.

I didn't have any inflatable element at my hen.

Dya think we could have a belated Hitched hen? Could then have all the things we didn't have at our original hens.

Oh. One of these new fangled words. Back in my day "simply ravishing" was a suitable description, and of course you tipped your hat when a lady passed you by.

Fit is someone who is into sport.

A hunk is a random piece of cheese.

A beefcake is something you put in a bun with ketchup, mayo, lettuce, onion and a slice of gherkin.

    Buff? That's beige surely.

I've only ever come across one male stripper and that was 10 years ago. He put baby lotion on his manhood and flicked it at me! I ran away and hid in the loo for an hour until he had gone. Never again! I can't use Johnsons baby lotion on my daughter either...

Never had a stripper, however would only be interested if they were a midget.

My friend's boyfriend showed up at the end* and pretended to be a stripper... does that count??

(I was going to post a photo in here of him with the neck of his tshirt pulled down and me positioned so it looked like my cheek was resting on his bare shoulder... but it turned out hugeeee and looked quite frankly terrifying, so I thought better of it!)

    * less weird than it sounds... he lives a long way away and came up to see her at the weekend, so he met us for a drink before they went home together.

No. However we had a Burlesque dance class so I know how to ?

Butlers in the Buff however I have experienced on a hen night and a birthday. A bit of eye candy serving cocktails... harmless fun.

DITTO! Brilliant (and completely terrifying) film, and Monsieur Kilmer is quite the dish in it.

Even though strippers don't bother me one bit I can step back and understand why others might not like them.

I had a friend who worked in a strip club and she made a very good point. When Women see a Male stripper we find it funny. It has a comedy value but Women strippers are there to 'turn on' the Man.

I have seen quite a few Male strippers and every time the Women are in stitches, screaming "off, off, off" and basically just having a good laugh.

I have also seen Female strippers and it is completely different. You would never catch a group of Men laughing at the stripper or doing most things us Women do.

So my point is I can understand why some might not like the idea of them.

I haven't really had too much experience of strippers, male or female. A few years ago, the girlfriend of one of our friends arranged a secret party at their house and asked me and OH to book him a stripper (to come to their house, it seemed normal then but now I think about it, it seems odd!) she was an hour late, danced to two songs, took her top off then scratched the living daylights out of the birthday boy. He was in serious agony, she just scratched all over his chest and back for no reason, weirdo! My sister had a stripper for her 18th which some friends organised without her knowing, he took it too far and put her hand down his thong, when those booking it had requested for him to be 'tame' as she was only a baby!

So from my limited experience, I wouldn't be too bothered if OH had a stripper or went to a strip club (as long as they didn't hurt him!) but he is incredibly shy so I doubt he would enjoy it all that much anyway. I wouldn't really want one myself but I'm pretty sure I will end up with something along those lines. If I do, I will laugh along and enjoy it as much as possible. As has been said, stag/hens are something you only get the opportunity to do once.

In a few gay clubs I've seen boy strippers which I found gross (mostly because they were greasy, overly muscly and a bit creepy...and obviously I'm not into men)

I saw a GORGEOUS female stripper in New York in a gay club (they had girls and boys) but I don't think women react in quite the same way to visual stimulus from a stranger. Though I thought she was really beautiful I wasn't turned on...it's more of a giggle thing, really. I bullied W2B into putting some dollar bills into her thong but she's such a prude and blushes at the thought of that sort of thing (which is why I would have LOVED to see her on her hen)

My hen was a meal at a really posh restaurant followed by champagne cocktails and giggles at my friends house, though I did have a couple of celebratory nights out there were no strippers. Admittedly I'd have loved to have one; not because I find it sexy but it inevitably leads to lots of giggles. My MOH is a bit shy and would never have the guts to book one; W2B on the other hand was dreading the idea (when she realised they'd planned something she tried to back out and say she was ill) and got the wild hen night!

    WSS

I was far more worried about her hurting herself or getting lost than cheating on me. And she has no reason to worry; I'd never do anything (and anyway, her body is better than any stripper I've ever seen in RL or on TV/films...I'd be effing MENTAL to play away!)

I wouldn't really be fussed if W2B went to strip clubs. If she wants to see naked women they are only a click of a mouse or TV remote away, so if I were jealous about that I'd have to ban her from going on holiday or any sort of media. If she wanted to cheat she probably would whether or not she went into a strip club; I suspect most strippers are so sick of pervy men even if someone's OH wanted to cheat they might have a harder job than in a normal club!

sorry, had to say something to that, they are not as 'soft' as you may think. mt best friend (when single) went in a strip club with work friends, she has a huge phobia of any boyfriend going to one and wanted to see what went on. yes on stage it may be soft however the private dances vary stripper to stripper, and she went in for the private dance. to cut a long story short the woman got naked and bent over in her face so she had a close up view of EVERYTHING. that aint soft!!

my OH has been to amsterdam so i know no strip club around these parts can compare to what he witnessed. all ive said is i dont mind you going in one but i would feel very uncomfortable with him getting a private dance and i know he will respect that.

i totally get why people dont like them and dont want OH going in. my brother in law was a bouncer in one and the women are very clever and persuasive!!

I don't like the thought of strippers due to the thought of someone else touching my OH, like somone else has said.

Here's a pic of my OH's friends joint stag posted on facebook (the most decent one i could find) For the record she gave me permission to repost this as she isn't bothered by it at all. I on the other hand would be mortified to know another woman was topless on top of my H2B luckily both me and my OH have the same view and neither of us will be having strippers.

Is it controversial to suggest that women in strip clubs will try to persuade a customer to offload as much of his money as possible? This is, after all, the point of a stripper's job...
