    Hi everyone,

Hoping for your honesty in whether our wording sounds rude! I was planning on writing something like this:

The most important part of J*** and M****'s wedding is your presence in helping them to celebrate their marriage. Gifts are by no means expected but if you feel that you would like to give them something then they would really appreciate a donation towards making their honeymoon a very special holiday. Thank you.

    What do you think?

I had originally put the dreaded money poems int he invites- but now the more i read about them the more i think ''uh oh'' and i will not sent them out- if people decide they would like to buy us something then it can be a suprise- (even tho cash would be handy cos we'd like a new sofa)

and as for not taking nothing at all to a wedding no matter if day/evening guest it's still rude- we went to a wedding last week and i put £20 in a card- wish i could have afforded to give more but hey ho

and i like living here in n-wales cos the houses are dirt cheap compared to the houses over the border lol..
