opinions please on brown as a suit colour for the men

I usually wouldn't be a fan but when you describe the style of your wedding, I think it sounds perfect.

I think it looks nice as long as the pink shades don't go too pink, the shades in your pic looks good.

My friend had brown colour scheme for her wedding and they were lovely- she had hints of orange as her colour scheme

We liked brown and we saw a lovely picture in the suit shops book.....when we went in and saw it in the flesh it looked completely different!

I think we are going to have dark grey now.

I actually quite like brown suits, especially with pink. I seem to remember a hitcher's OH having a brown suit not so long ago, I think it was Mini so it might be worth searching her report and having a nosey at her pictures.

I really like those brown suits, they seem much warmer (in terms of colour) compared to the grey/black suits. They would work well with pinks and sage greens.

Our 'men' are having brown suits. They've all been today for fittings and they looked completely gorgeous!

Ours are a little different as they are wearing ivory mandarin collar shirts under so no cravats or ties.

They're not tails or Prince Edward style either, but a sort of long lounge suit.

I can't share a pic as I'll be told off but they did look incredibly handsome so really glad we've gone with that option.

We are having brown suits ... with jade green ties and hanky in the pocket. The vivid green and dark brown look really good together.

I think they look really smart, and we are going to so many weddings this year we wanted something a bit different.

We are having brown but he hasnt actually been to try them on yet. We are having a vintage style wedding, my bridesmaids dresses are also brown. I think they look lovely.

My OH has gone for a brown suit, although it´s so dark that you wouldn´t actually say it was brown from looking at it. The advantage is that the colour is much more flattering than a stark black.

I think brown would look lovely with the colours that you´re talking about.

We had brown tails and brown bridesmaid dresses, so I think it looks great! Its not so obvious in pictures, but when there's a close up you can tell, especially if

they're wearing brown shoes too! I say go for it!

WSS but I also agree that the pink should be pale as in the pics you posted not a dark or hot pink

I like the brown suits. David Tennant used to wear a brown suit sometimes in his role of Doctor Who & he looked sexy!!! (Got two boys who are Doctor Who mad - or that's my excuse anyway)!!

Brown can look really good, it's not as harsh a tone as black.

I am getting my brown suits from my bridal shop but they are made by a company called Cameron Ross. if you go on their website you can have a look and make your own combination - it will also tell you where your nearest supplier is
