I wonder if they maybe don't know that OT exists. I know that sounds stupid but I really didn't know it existed for a while and then when I ventured on here it was when no one posted on here at all, maybe they still think it's still deserted?

OT is loads better now, more welcoming before I used to be scared of posting as it was very clicky...

But its nice to see people I knew from planning as we have whats the worded moved on together iykwim ?

You see I got ripped a new one when I joined OT as well but was too bloody mineded to leave - there were some absolutely lovely people here and I miss them dreadfully. You lot make me feel old?

I think with any board there will naturally be some people who gravitate towards some more than others. I know I find that I prioritise which threads I read on the basis of what I think of the poster. That said, I'd offer help/advice/my opinion if sought to all those I could, regardless of how much I liked them.

OT used to be really scarey, not many came out alive back in the day but it is much nicer now.

I did used to enjoy lurking on old OT......some of those posts were crazy! Never ever dared post though ️?️

Why were people scared to post?

Keeping in mind shnarfy that everyones different, and not everyone will agree with you, if you dared to write a thread entitled, for example 'I Like Cheese' you would have prolly 5 people saying how great cheese is and another 165 kicking the crap out of you, verbally, for daring to have any like-abilty towards cheese, for even looking at cheese, knowing anyone else who liked cheese, let alone mentioning cheese on the board. (no pun intended) Short of being burnt at the stake like a witch, you really didnt want to hang about.

of course, my examples an overexaggerated pisspoor one but it kinda sums it up.

I got locked in at the hairdressers once and tried to write a funny post about it and entitled it 'Held against my will' or soemthign like that. Anyway I got 50% people laughing and condoling me and the other 50% telling me I was a twunt for even considering that it was akin to being held against my will. So for a period of time I changed my username to Queen Pittabre of Dramania...

Do any of these people still 'visit' OT???
