Hey, Im a sept 2011 bride too. Mines a bonny dress.

Our wedding isnt that big either but I fell in love with this dress immediatley. I wouldnt worry too much, Im sure your dress is gorgeous and no matter what size, as long as you love it youll look a million dollars. Av you got a pic??

You're dress is gorgeous :-) I'm worried as we're going abroad and not all our relatives can make it so worried I'll look silly in it.

I've not got a pic of me in it as it needs to be altered and waiting for shoes as they sent me the wrong size so had to send them back (need to get shoes right to get the length sorted) its a Maggie Sottero dress in coco, I'll put a pic up but its in white xx

Hi stupidlamb. It is indeed Ian Stuart Jet Set. The original is a short length but i had it made long & changed the jacket. I got mine from Vanilla Bridal in Newport Pagnell.

Fit was really good and so was the quality bar some blue marks it arrived with so had to have it dry cleaned twice before my wedding day! It is now sat in a box looking for a new home! Wish I could wear it again.

I LOVE this dress....was looking at the Anixi by Jenny Packham but even second-hand it was way over my budget :-(

Thanks MrsShark, her dresses are so lovely, they were way over my budget as well but every tme I saw a dress I liked it turned out to be one of hers so in the end the budget had to be tweaked lol!

Pisceangirl I think yours is lovely and I don't think it's 'too much' for a smaller wedding either... I don't really go in for 'your dress must match the style of wedding', I think you should just wear what you like, but your dress isn't massive, it looks just perfect

Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous dresses, I feel so much happier. I thought I was the only bride with a bit of fuss on her dress as I got married back in 1996 (when I was a baby!) and had a shock this time around as the dresses are alot slinkier and thought maybe I should get a plainer dress for abroad (and I'm older being 34).

I have the same dress as jojo its a Maggie Coco in diamond white, are you accessorising it with white or off white as I've noticed when its against white it looks ivory iykwim?

Once I get it altered I'll upload a piccie. Are any of you having veils?
