Yes definitely a cancer charity and I posted last night saying I'd like to have MacMillan Nurses because 3D Jewellery mentioned that and due to her sad news it was a very fitting charity. Would that be ok with you? Have a look on page 4 as I think posted there.

Thanks very much I'll go and add you now. xx

Tickets are only £1 each and for each ticket you get a number and then you need to keep your yes peeled for your name appearing on the date of the draw (still to be decided).

I've updated the first page with this:

POST UPDATED ON 1ST APRIL AT 7.22PM

    Evening all,

There is enough interest in the Raffle so this is how it will work. Tickets can be bought soon but not just yet.

Prizes are listed below and the more prizes donated the better so keep them coming.

You will be able to buy tickets at £1 each through Just Giving, so the money goes straight to the charity, and you can chose between charities (see below). You then need to email me with your top 3 prize choices and you'll be given your ticket numbers before the draw. If you want to list more than your top 3 prizes feel free to do so.

One of the charities to donate to will be the MacMillan Nurses as this is a charity close to a lot of hitchers hearts. Suggestions welcome for another charity so people can chose?

I will set the Just Giving pages up at the weekend at the latest.

If you would be happy to contribute prizes please either email me or post on here. Email address is ******@**************.**.**. I think for the purposes of the raffle anyone should be able to donate prizes and not just HIB's. If anyone has an issue with that please let me know but I'm just thinking the more money raised the better and people aren't doing it to promote themselves in the same way cheeky advertisers do.

Vicky it isn't really a trash the dress especially if you don't want to. I did an Encore Sessionafter the wedding with Teri M who is a photography hib, I'll get a few pics. x

Look here http://murakamiphotography.blogspot.com/search/label/Encore%20Post%20Wedding%20Session. It was just a fun session in the dress without being worried it would get dirty. I don't think it did get dirty at all but I did take a lot of twigs back out of the New Forest in my train!

You can be more daring if you wanted as I've seen pics where people go into water or mud but I wasn't really up for that kind of trashing although I did want to go under a waterfall! lol

When the tickets are released would it be an idea to have a complete list of the prizes available?

The list on page 1 is a complete list as I have kept adding to it and have more to add tonight after dinner (including Peter's prizes, ByGeorge and Sharon hair hib). Once the raffle starts yes I'll get another sticky with all the prizes and links to the charity Just Giving pages.

Got more fabby prizes to add as I've had a few emails donating even more. I'm so pleased with how generous everyone has been including people wanting to buy tickets.

We just need to decide on the second charity or whether to just have one, MacMillan Nurses? I don't want to make the decision myself. I think it would be fairer to have a second so I'll go through all the pages from this thread and list the suggestions and then we can pick.

Pg, for the second charity, what about using last years why17 or giving to the alzheimers society? I lost my grandma 2 years ago after a long battle with alzheimers and know several people who have been helped by the former....

    Just a suggestion

I'm trying to set the pages up now but not being successful and Casinogirl offered her help so just emailed her. The rock of the frock prizes aren't in Scotland though!

The first post explains how you'll vote for your top prizes. xx

I've added little prizes in from myself but thought I could use them if no one picked them as their top choices. They aren't worth much so if no one picks them I'll pull another 5 names out as extras. I think that will work!

I will add everything into one full post once the charity pages are set up. x

Ok so I'm stuck at the Just Giving pages but I'll sort that out tomorrow and then IT BEGIN'S! I'm sorry it's starting at a Easter Weekend but the raffle will be open for at least a week so plenty time for people.

I've got my draft post ready explaining how it will work and how long it's open for.

I just don't know which to select from this list. I tried An organised event but it takes me to marathons etc so I'm thinking I need to select the last one. HELP!

Let us know what you’re doing
    • An organised event

This includes marathons, treks, walks, cycling, swimming, triathlons, skydiving, overseas events and any other organised group event.

    • Celebrating an occasion

A birthday, wedding, civil partnership, christening or anniversary is a great opportunity to raise money for charity.

    • Raising money in memory

Honour the memory of someone you love by collecting donations for a cause they cared about.

    • Doing your own thing

Be inventive – shave your head, give up smoking, lose weight, stop talking… the possibilities are endless.
