Hello I am getting married July 2023 at the registry office in my town. Can I have peoples honest opinion on weirder the dress I am looking at are suitable or if they are over the top please 😊 Registry office 1

They're lovely. I have a friend who is a wedding photographer, and these dresses would definitely not be OTT for any of the registry office weddings she's photographed (and they'd be quite understated compared to some - her last but one registry wedding featured a HUGE ballgown with an enormous train!). The days when you were expected to wear nothing dressier than a pale coloured jacket & skirt to a registry office wedding are long gone! Nowadays, anything goes.

Nothing is OTT, it is your day and you should wear what you want regardless of the venue. These are beautiful and you will look stunning in any of them, just as a bride should
