Trying to find a black wedding dress

Any dress can be a wedding dress if you say it is one! Instead of hunting specifically for black wedding dresses, have you tried looking at black prom dresses & seeing if any of those look like something you'd want to get married in?

ETA: as illustration, here are a few "prom dresses" that I'm absolutely certain would be advertised as bridal if they were white instead of black.

I definitely second Anna's suggestion of looking for prom dresses (maybe also evening gowns on department store websites). Also have a look at Rock n Roll Bride Magazine and Website - they advertise a lot of alternative dress sellers!

Thanks all, already exhausted those searches. I have in my head what I want my dress to be - I have until mid 2024 - hopefully something will caught my eye!

I really wanted a black dress also I went for a black vintage 1950s dress from British retro with a black petticoat.
I'm 5ft3 so wanted a tea length dress. Plenty of places have black dresses or you could buy a dress of your dreams and dye it black.

I have a beautiful black wedding dress for my wedding next year from David’s Bridal. They have a few UK stores where you can try it on and it’s not £3k 😅
