Tried to make you feel guilty?!? I was stating a fact about where my username came from. I'm really not the kind of person that would try to make someone feel guilty if they try to insult me like that - I've had far worse. *shrugs*
When I joined hitched I couldn't think of anything good so I went with my name and the date I'm getting married. But it's quite long and it's boring. And yet I still can't think of anything better.
Mine was one missT2BMrsC or something stupid like that. I thought I was dead clever, then I realised it was crap and changed it to Cilla as its my name shortened (and mis spelled) and new initial backwards. Now THAT'S clever!
My husband used to call me Ninja Pigeon as I can't stand cutesy nicknames. He tries to come up with different ones regularly. Calling me 'big hippo' was a low point.
My best mate sometimes calls me Freckles, and even though I hate it when he does, I couldn't think of anything else! Just Freckles was gone, so I just put my birth year on the end.
Mine is Holey because believe it or not I have TWICE turned up to work with big and I mean big holes in the back of my tights. I also work with mostly men and the first time it happened noone told me until lunchtime!
My nickname given to me originally by girls I used to do gymnastics with is 'Ducky' because apparently I have a small waist (the duck's neck) and a massive bum (the errr rest of the duck). It's not THAT big, but the name stuck. Somehow it spread to school friends, uni friends and OH.
My username is DuckyBum because some cowbag already used Ducky. Clearly she never actually posts though.
OH is Ozzy or Oz. He has been calling me Moz recently (a shortened version of Mrs Oz to be, apparently). I answer to anything.
Sapphire because at the time I joined Hitched I was trying to convince H to buy me a sapphire engagement ring (and its my birthstone). Then the royal engagement happened and I knew if I got the ring it would look like I was obsessed with Kate Middleton ?. 'Sapphire' was already taken, so I stuck 22 on the end because the password for my first ever e-mail address had 22 in. I've thought about changing it to something a bit more catchy but no idea what.
What about changing it to NorthernLights? Your avatar is Aurora, which is part of the name Aurora Borealis, which are also known as the northern lights?
Mine is simply a mix of Mine and H's initials. not very inventive, but I'm happy with it!
