Videographer or not?

No one I know has ever watched their wedding video, apart from just after it was delivered to check it was ok. So I'm not sure it's really worth the money. The only exception is if you have a lot of loved ones who can't be there. I know a lot of people booked a videographer last year and the year before, because Covid meant so many of their guests weren't able to come. We just had ours livestreamed via an amateur camera.

The article says that your kids will want to watch it - really? I've never wanted to watch any of our families' wedding videos and I've never regretted that my parents didn't have one for their wedding. Don't think any of my friends' kids have watched theirs either, and 10-20 years on, most of my family & friends say it was a waste of money.
