Hi everyone, just started wedding planning and would love some advice if poss! We live in Northampton but are potentially thinking of a venue in the Lake District which is where we stayed when we got engaged. It is over 4 hours away and I wondered how to go about booking flowers, hair and make up....
Hi everyone, just started wedding planning and would love some advice if poss! We live in Northampton but are potentially thinking of a venue in the Lake District which is where we stayed when we got engaged. It is over 4 hours away and I wondered how to go about booking flowers, hair and make up. Is it best to find companies already in the Lake District? I’m unsure if anyone would travel from Northampton to do hair and make up and also unsure how to transport/store flowers all that way. I also have a cake maker in mind from Northampton but not sure it would survive the car journey!? Attending hair and make up trials could be tricky due to the distance. How does it all work! Any advice would be great. Thank you! Smiley smile

    I’d definitely recommend looking for local suppliers in the Lake District first, especially for flowers, hair and makeup. Many local artists are already set up to travel to wedding venues, and some offer trials in the area, which can make planning much easier. For the cake, a local baker or venue-recommended supplier could also save you the stress of a four-hour car journey. Capcut APK can also be useful when looking for additional ideas and resources online.
