I would start now for wedding dress, as it can take 6 to 9 months from boutiques but also as it is end of season you may get a bargain! You may want to do a couple of trips as well so gives you time to be 100% sure in the one. For bridesmaids, depends on if you are getting from wedding shop or High Street. I got mine from monsoon just to try so came in a few days and then my Bridesmaids loved them so all sorted! For little ones is a it harder as they can grow so maybe choose one and look to buy 4-6 months before or get earlier and get altered later but be careful as my little ones can't be taken up only in. Enjoy shopping! X

I'd second starting to look for your dress now. I ordered mine in May for my March 2022 wedding and it arrived in the boutique at the weekend. Won't be getting alterations until January so there was definitely time to hold off but some designers had a longer lead in time than mine (only five months and I think that's quite short). I ordered my bridesmaid's dress from David's bridal and was told it could take up to four months but it was actually closer to four weeks. I didn't expect to buy my dress or my bridesmaid's on either shopping trip but I think if you see something everyone likes and know your colour scheme, you could go for it. Better organised than not - I'd hate to have found the dress only to be told there wasn't time to order it!

It depends what you're after. Some boutiques take 6-9 months for dresses (this may be longer due to covid and brexit if the designers are abroad)
Some boutiques can make them in-house and have a turn around of 2-3 months. Or theres always second hand and high-street wedding dresses which you can get in an instant so only have to wait for alterations if theyre needed

I’m getting married in July next year and just bought my dress two weeks ago! She said it would be ready around Jan/Feb time for first fitting. We’ve also started looking at BM dresses and suits for my dad and my fiancé. We aren’t having any other groomsmen. Give yourself plenty of time in case the dress takes 6-9 months which is normal I think. Good luck
