I am having a dilemma about whether to buy my favourite dress or not. I tried it on, on Saturday and loved it. But the shop would not let me take a photo of it (although my friend did very sneakily when no one was looking!), or tell me what the dress is called. I have no intention of buying the dress elsewhere - this one was a good price and the right length - but I did want to look at pictures of it online to remind myself of what it was like.
I thought I heard the lady in the shop say it was an Eddy K dress, so I sent it to Eddy K to find out the make. They said it isn't one of theirs.
What can I do next? I am due to go and see the dress / try it on again tomorrow, but I'm worried about a confrontation if I ask for some kind of authentication before I buy it. I do want to know that I've bought a designer dress though and not a knock off. The last thing I want is to have a lovely dress but worry I've been had!
