Wedding Dress Shopping - 2 Stores in 1 Day?

Hi - no not crazy at all. I did 2 in a day on two separate occasions and it is helpful because any that you liked at the first one are still fresh in your mind and you know how you felt about them. Wear something cool and take deodorant and water though as it gets very hot putting dresses on and off for several hours!

No, I have a lot of friends who've done that - one friend did 3 in one day because she lives such a long way from any shops! Just make sure you have a gap between both appointments to rest and eat!

Oh wow, they must have had a busy day! But that definitely makes me feel better about it. I'm going to try and get one before lunch and one later in the afternoon so we can stop for food inbetween!

Hi i think doing that many in a day is fine and makes a great day of it. One thing though, you may want to go earlier than September. I am also a June bride and I ordered my dress 2 weeks ago and it wont come in until March and then I will have 3 dress fittings for alterations. You might be pushing the time limit with going in September as you need time for the dress to come in and then have your alterations. Currently 10 months is the standard delivery time in many dress shops in my area.

I am currently losing weight but most dresses can be made up to 3 dress sizes smaller during the alterations, so I wouldn't worry about putting off going until you hit your goal weight.

Not crazy at all i know someone who went to 4 in one day and if they stock the designer in one amd not the other then at least you can try them on as well good look with your weigh loss and finding a dress xx💗

Thanks for the advice! I did speak to one of the shops and they thought September should be ok but i'd better double check with the other one as well. I don't want to end up limited on what I can have because of time restraints
