We're hopefully having florence and the machine "You got the love" to exit to. Well that's the plan at the moment. We're being traditional with the song to enter to with Bach "Air on a G String"
But if you wanted something fun and different, there's a song I like by Moldy Peaches that I love, and I may lobby the OH as our first dance song It's called 'Anyone Else But You', and it needs to be heard to be understood
We had Elton John's are you ready for love as we left the ceremony room. And before I walked in ' Have you met miss Jones'. as I was Miss Jones at the time!! Not sure if anyone but me and my Mum, Dad and Sister got the joke though!
I must admit i often try to advise brides to have something a bit more upbeat for the exit as it signals the end of the formalities and the start of the celebration. My favourite is 'signed sealed delivered I'm yours' Stevie Wonder.
I walked in to "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King, signed the register to "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer and walked out to "All You Need is Love" by the Beatles.
I would like a funny song, but I could never beat my Aunt who had "Alwyas look on the bright side of life." The whole family we're whistling away!!! lol
Im coming in to pachelbels canon and thats as far as we've got!!! i did think about wheels by the foo fighters to walk out to, but need to have a think with OH
I'm the same I realy want something a little bit different, I'm not sure what to walk down the aisle to but I'm thinking of walking out to Abba - I do I do I do, or Celebration, I agree with Sandy Sounds I want people to feel like the formal bits over and the party is about to start. x
