Wedding favours

Abigail, 14 October, 2021 at 09:20 Posted on Planning 0 5
Has anyone made there own wedding favours?

I’m thinking of making candles in little tea cups which I’d collect from charity shops. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

I think that is a really cute idea! We are making wax melts and giving them with a burner to our guests. The only thing I would say is make in advance as it can be time consuming. We also found that by doing it this way we can give one favour per family/couple group so saves cost over an individual favour per guest

Suppose you have enough time to want to do that, of course. The candles are a great idea, and guests will definitely appreciate them, especially if they find out that you made them with your own hands. But if you don't want to have big headaches, you can order someone else to do them. We chose at our wedding to give as wedding favors personalized chocolate boxes from https://lilyobriens.ie/wedding-favors Guests were surprised to see their own faces on these boxes. So this might be an excellent idea for you as well.

I'm planning on making my own favours - candles as well - but the idea of making them in teacups is so sweet! I think making them is another really personal touch that will make your day even more special. As a bonus point, if you use a wax like soy which burns cleaner and is easier to remove, your guests also get a bonus teacup to use after their candle is burned!
