My everyday fragrance (and OH's favourite) is J-Lo Glowing, but it seems to have been discontinued. I can't find it anywhere anymore. So I need something different. I'm trying a few out over the next few weeks/months. Been trying loads on, and narrowed it down to a choice between Jimmy Choo Illicit, Paco Rabanne Olympea, Hugo Boss Deep Red (one of my signatures!), Ghost Girl, and French/Japanese brand called Hanae Mori. Now just need to try them over a longer period and see which I like best. I must have spent a good £200 on perfumes over the last couple of days lol.

We've not yet decided on one for OH. I really like him wearing Givenchy Play Sport, but he wants to try some more out first and maybe go for something new.

Just stumbled across this old thread. I love the idea of both getting new scents for the big day and hadn't heard of that before. There seems to be a lot of love for Jo Malone on here so after reading this I'm deffo going to go and check that out :-)

I am a huge fan of flowerbomb and bonbon so all you ladies who have chosen those - fab choices!!

I don't really wear perfume much as I find it doesn't really last on me. The main reason being that I've never had a particularly good one! I do want a nice perfume that is specifically just for the wedding as I do think it can bring back memories. I had a little sniff around in Debenhams and really like Armani Si, it was white roses so felt weddingy and I'm having white roses so it seemed apt but now after reading everyone's comments about Jo Malone I'm very intrigued to try there. I had a look on the website and saw something about a bridal consultation, has anyone had one? I find places like that pretty intimidating and always feel awkward around posh makeup counters etc so I'm wondering if I'd enjoy it or not!

Some gorgeous suggestions here! I've been thinking about wedding perfume recently and am a bit worried about W2B and I clashing with our perfumes. At the same time, I don;t really want us to wear the same scent because we have really different tastes and styles. No idea what to do!

I spends weeks trying different ones but have finally decided on dolce and gabanna 'dolce'. It's one of their first fragrances but overlooked by some of the more popular ones. It's gorgeous x

I went to a consultation at Jo Malone this afternoon with H2B, it was really good. I too am not the most comfortable in swanky places, but the girls there made us feel very comfortable and the one that dealt with us in particular was very helpful and knowledgeable. I tried a range of different scents, found one I really liked and then the girl gave me a hand and arm massage with the body cream, before spraying on the fragrance. I still smell lush! Be warned that they will try and sell you two together, because they layer fragrances. Twice the cost!

That said, the layering makes them ideal for TwoBridesOneDay, because you can both wear different fragrances that work well together and don't clash!

H2B also tried a few and found one he really likes, so we are both sorted!

I've settled on Jimmy Choo Illicit. Paco Rabanne Olympea was a close second, but the Illicit is a little softer so I think it will be better for the wedding day. Still no decision on OH, but as he doesn't wear fragrance very often he'll probably stick with the Givenchy Play Sport.

However, I now have about 6 bottles of perfume sat on my dresser: Illicit, Olympea, Boss Deep Red, J-Lo Glowing, Ghost Girl, and Anna Sui Fairy Dreams. Think I'd better get used to wearing perfume everyday! Lol.

I am also a Jo Malone bride, I am wearing Peony and Blush Suede. I was lucky enough to be brought it for my birthday present this year by my mum and dad. I have the fragrance, body wash, body lotion and also the candle to burn while getting ready.

I wore it all for the first time on Saturday for my hen do and I loved it! Lasted all night and I woke up still smelling it! I am saving it now for the wedding day and then taking it away on my honeymoon so all the memories from the fragarnce will be wedding related ?

I would just go out with W2B and get sniffing and spraying together in Boots to work out what will complement (and what you both like on each other!). thats what OH and I will be doing x
