Hi, we are a queer couple and African in Sunderland. In need of 2 persons to act as witnesses for our special day, unfortunately our families do not accept us and are unwilling to stand in and we don't really have friends. It will be a great joy if anyone can help out, I'm willing to pay just to show appreciation. Thanks

I'm so sorry your family won't support you. I'm too far away to help, but maybe you could try asking a neighbour or an acquaintance? If not, what about asking in a local group online, perhaps one focused on supporting the queer community (Facebook? Insta?). Or work colleagues? Best of luck and wish you and your partner so much love and happiness.

Good on you both for being you it's hard when family don't respect who you are or what you want it's your lives you should do what you want sadly I'm to far away to be a witness but I do hope you find someone x ♥️
