Your choices are: Gin and Tonic Champagne Elderflower cordial Orange juice (There'll also be beer and ale if wanted but not offered on trays) What would you have? I'm trying to work out volume so your answers will help me. Thanks in advance! CB

At one of my favorite venues they ply me with an elderflower cordial that they mix with tonic and sparkling lemonaid, it's yumm, so I vote for elderflower, lol. Also because I don't drink at weddings Smiley winking

    We'd both go for Champagne.

At ours we're having enough mulled wine for everyone to have a glass, but knowing not everyone likes it, we've got enough champagne for everyone to have a glass of that too.

Have you considered Pimms as your spirit rather than G&T? a very popular alternative for those who do not drink Champagne.

We considered it but decided against it as we prefer G&T's. I think Pimms is much better if you add a shot of gin to it - no wonder our parent's parties were so popular when we were young!

We are having blue vodka cocktails to go with our icy theme, and hot chocolate for non-drinkers

Definite toss up between G&T and champagne. If it was a hot day we would both probably go for the G&T.

Lots of replies which I didn't read so apologies if it's already been said, but I have read (not tasted) that champagne plus elderflower cordial is a delicious drink and a fab way to, erm, dilute early afternoon champagne effects.

So, I'll have a champers AND an elderflower cordial.... and a pint glass please, barman.

We are having a plain old cheap white or red wine and orange juice or bucks fizz for non drinkers. Neither me or OH drink so can't justify spending loads on alcohol. I think serving champagne would be lovely though Smiley smile
