What cake topper are you having?

I can’t show any photos as it hasn’t been made yet and it’s being created by special request - completely bespoke! But it will be two of our favourite characters from a cartoon we bonded over at the beginning, with wedding items like a veil on the bride!

My sister had the polymer clay bride and groom, the ones that are personalised to look like the bride and groom. My other sister and my sister in law had just flowers.

Tbh, I was thinking of going with none/flowers! Here’s some inspo: (hope it helps!)

I have no pictures sadly but there are a fair few on Google with a similar theme. I'm basically wearing mickey mouse ears and the groom is wearing a storm trooper helmet. 😂 going for some low key disney theme with a bit of extreme here and there. I saw one on Pinterest and thought it was great.

She was really helpful in customising - I picked the bride from one silhouette and requested it without a veil, the groom from another and the dog from a third because we had to include our fur baby! I made a cake to celebrate our first anniversary and we got it out and stuck it on top of that, and we plan to use it every year - it cost about £21, which is a lot for a cake topper, but bearing in mind we will be using it annually, it doesn't work out so bad! (And you can get them cheaper, it's just that we wanted our dog included as well, so had to have a larger one!)

I'm also hoping to get one from etsy. We've got a festival/rustic theme and a semi naked cake so I'm thinking something wooden or perhaps bunting. I guess it depends what style of cake and wedding you're having, and what suits your character.

I am having this one only cheap but only five people at my wedding so putting it on the cake my kids are making x💗
